Product Description

Tamson thermostatic visibility bath, 230V-50Hz,  conform ASTM D445, with a temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C. Temperature stability is ±0.02 K.

The bath volume is 70 litres and has a opening of 260 x 240 mm.  There are seven openings for holding viscometers. Cooling compressor is integrated.

An integrated cooling system lowers the bath temperature down to minus 40°C within approximately 4 hours.

Due to its wide temperature range the bath can be used for

multiple purposes varying from low temperature viscosity

measurement to calibration of sensors or thermometers. The large

windows show the bath contents clearly. The windows are heated

preventing build up of condensate.

Tamson viscometer and Tamson calibration baths are specially

designed for tests that require ultra precise temperature control, or

processes that need to be followed visually, e.g. viscometry,

thermometer calibration, crystal growing, density and reaction rate

measurement, etc. All models are fitted with double windows in

front and rear walls. The windows are formed with two panes of

tempered safety glass separated by 20 mm air space. Visibility

through the bath is excellent.
